Roadmap

This page describes capabilities being considered for Vitrify. They are planned work, not features of the current CLI, and no delivery dates are set.

Planned capabilities

  • More retrieval types: retrieve a linked-data representation for an IRI and fetch an arbitrary URL as a local file.
  • Croissant metadata: support Croissant output alongside the current RO-Crate metadata.
  • Additional representations: offer optional raw-response or normalized graph outputs for workflows that need them.

The current CLI supports SPARQL retrieval with vitrify sparql. See the CLI for available options and the RO-Crate output guide for the RO-Crate files it writes today.
